Life Update

Week

Life has been incredibly insane of late, little flower and I were talking about that last night when we had our evening talk.
It seems that things in general have been ramping up bordering on chaotic especially when it comes to work.

Work: Usually this time of year heading into Thanksgiving is a slow and easy transition, it has been anything but. We have been having across the board failure of our wifi infrastructure. There have been some Windows updates (I’ve been trying to get them to consider Linux) that have been causing problems with Active Directory and Group Policies causing computers to hang for hours without booting.  Then throw in the normal day to day things that happen and it seems like the bottom has been falling out.

All in all I’ve been handling it well, thankfully I have a fantastic team member I work with and the two of us are not to be trifled with.

Email: I have been very bad with my emails of late which is not like me, I haven’t forgotten any of you. By the time I leave work and get home, rustle up dinner, make coffee, etc I am wiped. Even my nightly ritual of going to Starbucks in the evening to have a coffee and write has been curtailed.
So those of you who have written me emails and not heard anything back…I apologize and will be sitting down to do that soon.

Reading/Book Reviews: I’ve been devouring books of late that is the one other thing besides little flower that has helped keep me sane. After we talk at night I curl up with a book and end up falling asleep with my Kindle in my hand.
Doing the book reviews here has become something I have been enjoying very much and look forward to adding more as time goes by.

On that note as well just in case some of you may have thought otherwise; I do read other things besides erotica and books about the lifestyle *gasp* Who would have thought.

Well I have found a way to give back even on that; since a good part of what I read even there are books by indie authors I have become a member of The Masquerade Crew and will be doing reviews of books by indie authors of varying genres.

Auctioned/Writing: Speaking of writing I actually have been working on this story on and off. “But why hasn’t anyone seen more of it on the blog?” you may be asking. Well I have been approached about publishing the story and that means I can’t be putting it all over my blog. There will be bits and pieces of it that I will post form time to time as I make progress on it.

As for the collection of Shane and Bella stories that is still a project in the works, the stories have been edited and are waiting in the wings. Kayla Lords is still helping me with this but she is working on getting a book of her own out which takes precedence.

I may or may not be able to get out a Shibari Saturday post this week, time…there is not enough time..sigh.

little flower: Part of my time crunch this week is due to the fact that I will be flying out Friday after work to spend the next week and Thanksgiving with little flower. Normally I would be mostly packed but with the chaos of the last week and a half it just has not happened. Add to that my back has been acting up a bit which hasn’t helped. SO between tonight and tomorrow I will be packing and putting together as much as I can. Friday morning morning my bags and other things, possibly a Wartenburg wheel will be put in the bag along with The Devil and his twin and of course my rope. Immediately after work I will be heading right for the airport to hop a plane.
This will be a bit more then just a trip to see little flower this time as we will be spending Thanksgiving together and for the first time I will be meeting her family.

As some of you may have picked up from one of my earlier posts little flower has stepped out of the shadows and made herself known.

On the up side of possibly not having a Shibari Saturday post this week is that I will be with my rope bunny/camera person for a little more then a week so there is the opportunity for a rope video or two.

So there has been a lot going on and will be going on.
Never a dull moment!
