My Perspective: Soothing Touch

By | February 2, 2018

My days can be hectic, doing this, doing that.

From working in the shop and playing with my wood, to chasing down boys, making dinner, and replying to messages and emails.

When the end of the day comes and we lay down in bed, it’s her hand, her touch that soothes and calms me.

The touch that lets me know I did what I had to and now it is time to let go and let sleep take me.

Her soothing touch

Her touch soothes me after a long day

Physical touch feeds your soul like nothing else can. A touch, a kiss and an intimate connection makes the world go around. ????

YES, it certainly does. Having taken the Love Languages test and knowing that touch is my love language (besides coffee that is) goes a long way as well.

        MOSTLY the coffee! ☕️????
That is one way Professor takes care of me every morning. I’m not at my best and brightest first thing, so as soon as I get up, he makes me a cup of coffee. I’ve been told I should wait on him, but it’s a beautiful way he shows me how important I am to him. Well, that and it lessens the chances of him getting stabbed in the morning. ????

I always look forward to the end of the day when I get a few precious moments to spend in bed, cuddled up with Sir, him usually petting me before sleep takes us. I’d pet him back, but he tends to hate that, actually.
