Shibari Saturday – Rope as Fashion

By | November 16, 2013

Using rope to tie up your sub is a great way to immobilize them and render them helpless.
What if it becomes more then that?

What if that rope suddenly becomes fashion?

For Shibari artist Fred Kyrel he has done just that, he has managed to turn it into a true art and a fashion statement. His work is beautiful and colorful, blending colors into stunning and even elegant wearable works of art.

He calls it Kybari which is a combination of his last name Kyrel and Shibari.

Not only does he do the rope work highlighted on his sight but he also is a photographer in his own right and the photos on his site are all done by him.

If you like his rope fashion there is a boutique where you can purchase some of his Shibari fashions in kits with rope and videos on how to tie them.

To view his photo gallery and even some videos here is the link to his webpage:

Now that really is some of the most beautiful rope work I’ve seen! Could take the art of render your sub helpless to a whole new level… the trouble will start when they begin whimpering… but can I wear pink, today… pleeaaasseee 🙂

      His rope work is incredible.
Then there is “Did you pick my rope up at the dry cleaners?”

It’s beautiful for sure. I barely have the patience for play bondage. I can’t imagine the patience it would require to be dressed in rope.

Now that is truly an art form, and stunning! I had never seen this before, thanks for sharing.

It’s stunning… just need to remember to not drink too much beforehand when tied up like that. It feels like a sin to take the rope of.

IT does I agree, but then when taking the rope off I like to do it slow allowing us both to savor the touch.
